On Sunday, October 10th, several island organizations and two mainland organizations join the ICC in holding a Fall Festival for the families of Islesboro. The Fall Festival will provide a wonderful opportunity for community members to join together and share a brief afternoon of family fun. The Island Festival will be held at the Islesboro Community Center. This will be a festival to celebrate family fun during this autumn season. All are encouraged to come out and join together in the spirit of community for an afternoon of enjoyment.
The festival will feature a Bounce House for the kids, games for all ages, pie eating contest, coloring contest*, Sno Cones, a Madden 11 Football (on Nintendo Wii) tournament, vendor tables, pumpkins, fresh cider, animals for petting, Food & Beverages and more.
Participating organizations; The Islesboro Pre-School, The Boardman Cottage, The Islesboro Central School Horticulture Program, The Islesboro Central School's Local Food for Everyone Initiative, Islesboro Sporting Club, Islesboro Fire Department, ICC Gift Shop , West Bay Farm, Island Feral Cats, Camden Rockport Animal Rescue League, and Penobscot Marine Museum.
The Islesboro Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Rain or Shine. Admission is FREE.

Seven Soup Supper
Thursday Night, October 28th, The Zone will sponsor a Seven Soup Supper (youth program fundraiser) in the Zone. There’ll be two seatings, the first at 5:30 P.M. and the second at 7:00 P.M. The ICC will host a Flea Market in the Main Hall on Sunday, November 21st
11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Any community member interested in selling items is encouraged to participate.Vendors with books, Arts n’Crafts, children’s clothing & toys, home goods, collectables, and any other items they wish to place for sale is encouraged to participate. Vendor tables are $15.00. Space is limited.

Coming this December the "Christmas Tree Decorating Contest" invites Organizations, Groups, Friends, and Individuals to sign-up for our Christmas Tree Decorating Contest. Tress will be judge on the following 3 areas, Creativity, Originality, and Spirit. Prizes will be awarded to the winners from each category. Judging will be conducted by the public and the decorated trees (with all decorations) will be raffled off to the community. No age limit ~ No decorating guidelines ~ All are invited to participate!
